Information /Terms of Registration / Application

Terms

  • Registered with Malaysian Registrar of Societies (ROS) pursuant to Societies Act 1966 or registered with Universities and University College Act 1974.
  • Registration is still valid.
  • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are cultural arts associations.


Registration Procedures
All registrations must be made through JKKN official site complete with the attachment of the following documents: -
  • Certified Copy of Society Registration Certificate (Societies Act 1966) or Letter of Confirmation from the University which the NGO is registered under the Universities and University College Act 1974;
  • List of Committee Members;(latest)
  • Number of Society Members;(latest) 

Advantages

  • The list of names will be stored at the department's database for reference
  • Latest information on the department/ministry programmes/activities which will be provided are as follows: -
    • Financial Assistance
    • Promotional Assistance
    • Space Assistance
    • Advisory Services Assistance
    • Assistance from Other Parties
    • Courses
    • Workshops
    • Skills
    • Priority in application for assistance under JKKN Arts Incentive for activities/programmes implementation.
       

Objective

The registration of NGO is for reference and storage purposes of the Headquarters of National Department for Culture and Arts and States JKKN, and as a guide for all related parties.
