Sinopsis

Apresiasi kepada keindahan kesenian lama negeri Perlis yang diiringi oleh paluan gendang dengan tarian yang lemah gemalai, sudah pasti begitu mengasyikkan. “Dalam lembut ada keras, dalam keras ada lembut” menjadi begitu sinonim dengan kecantikan budaya Melayu.

Restorasi Terinai Perlis menampilkan tarian Terinai terawal dan evolusinya dari tahun 1900 sehingga 2022. Merangkumi sembilan (9) gugusan Terinai termasuk sebuah rekonstruksi Terinai lama dan lapan (8) Terinai ciptaan tradisi. Program ini merupakan inisiatif unggul yang mempamerkan tarian Terinai persembahan pentas prosenium secara komprehensif. Berbentuk pengajaran pembelajaran (performance-lecture) bersandarkan kepada penyelidikan dan memberi keutamaan kepada praktis dan teori seni tari tradisional. Apresiasi keindahan kesenian lama negeri Perlis diiringi oleh paluan gendang dengan tarian yang lemah gemalai ini sudah pasti begitu mengasyikkan.

Synopsis

The appreciation and interpretation of beauty of the old art from Perlis, accompanied by drum beats and soft flowy dance, will definitely awe its spectators. "In gentleness there is hard, in hardness there is gentle” this being so synonymous with the beauty of Malay culture.

The Restoration of the dance “Restorasi Terinai Perlis” features the earliest Terinai dance and its evolution from 1900 to 2022. Includes nine (9) Terinai collections including an old Terinai reconstructed dance and eight (8) Terinai traditional dance.  This programme is a prime initiative meant to showcase the Terinai's dance of proscenium stage performance comprehensively. It brings about the form of learning teaching (performance-lecture) and is based on research and gives priority to the practice and theory of traditional dance art in real time. The appreciation of beauty in the old art of Perlis will be accompanied by the flow of a drum and the softness and flowy show of dance will undoubtedly be very exciting.
